How much is the Colorado medical marijuana card application processing fee?
The application processing fee is $25. It is non-refundable and is required each time you submit an application. Funds from the fee are used to cover the costs of maintaining the Registry and go towards services such as customer and technical support.
When can I renew my Colorado medical marijuana card online?
You will be able to renew your card within 30 days of the expiration date listed on your card. If you already have online access to your account, you will receive a notification when you are eligible to renew.
Do I need to see a medical marijuana doctor every year?
Yes. Medical marijuana physician card certifications are only good for one year.
How are expiration dates determined for my Colorado medical marijuana card?
The issue and expiration dates on your card are based on the day your application was approved.
Cards issued for debilitating medical conditions have a registration period of one year.
Cards issued for disabling medical conditions may have a registration period lasting from 60 days to one year. The recommending provider determines the registration period.
Can I get my Colorado medical marijuana card online?
Yes. Colorado allows patients who have one or more of the required medical conditions to receive a recommendation to use medical marijuana via online. Telehealth is now permitted for residents in Colorado.
